Guangzhou Tour - Full day visit from Hong Kong
After your hotel pick up you will be taken to the pier for a 50 minute catamaran ride coach ride to Shekou - The First Special Economic Zone in China. Shekou Industrial Zone is located on the east coast of the Pearl River esturay, west of the Shenzhen city and 20 nautical miles from Hong Kong by sea.
Then visit a Kindergarten (except Saturday, Sunday and school holidays). A stop at the Safari park to see the adorable Chinese panda. If time permits, visit a free market to see and experience the local life. To visit the Exhibition Hall in Shekou is a must, here you can see a display of Qin Dynasty Terracotta Warriors and Horses. These findings have been acclaimed as the "8th Wonder of the World". The display also consists of bronze wares - more than 2000 years old with porcelain and pottery from the Tang Dynasty - unearthed in Xian as well as Wall paintings. Then proceed to Guangzhou through the express highway. Guangzhou was formerly known as Canton. It is the capital of Guangdong Province and the southern gateway to China. After lunch in a local Chinese restaurant, a city tour of Guangzhou is arranged. Visits include The Six Banyan Tree Temple, Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, an octagonal building designed in a palatial style. Evening depart for Hong Kong by express train to Kowloon Station and transfer back to your hotel.
